Zillow Group is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the Central Financial Planning and Analysis team! Working directly with the business FP&A teams, you’ll lead the process for providing effective, comprehensive, and consistent analysis over the health and performance of the company. This highly visible role requires a proactive and meticulous candidate with a consistent track record of encouraging relationships across functions and levels, allowing for the opportunity to engage with leaders on a regular basis.
Drive the consolidated reporting and analysis process across the FP&A teams, ensuring full transparency and alignment across FP&A and senior leadership on key processes and results
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual executive reporting, developing a deep understanding of the business in over to convey the most important aspects and changing forecasts
Identify benchmarks and maintain management reporting to assist leaders in assessing the health of the company
Partner closely with Investor Relations, Financial Reporting, and FP&A business teams to prep Finance leadership for the quarterly earnings call
Provide guidance in development of long-range plans involving strategy development, prioritization, timelines, and financial outcomes
Work with Accounting, gaining an understanding of accounting principles and how they impact the forecast
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $95,500.00 – $152,500.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
6+ years of experience at a high growth company performing financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and initiative planning duties either supporting a business unit or in a corporate FP&A function
Public company experience required, involvement in the quarterly external reporting and earnings process a plus
Eagerness for learning more about the business and translating it into management reporting
Applies excellent judgment and has a prove ability to prioritize, own, and lead multiple tasks and projects
Understanding of GAAP required to translate accounting treatment to forecast projections
Shown aptitude for learning new systems; Anaplan experience a plus but not required
