Working as part of the small Reception team, you will be responsible for excellent customer service with our guests and prospective guests, driving sales efficiency, conversion and quality. The role is varied and time management is essential.
Your role as a Receptionist:
# Maximizing the guest experience, from booking to departure
# Communicating with all departments to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
# To ensure that the daily takinigs balance and the weekly sales report is accurate,
# Cash handling
# Reporting to the Reception Manager
# To ensure guest`s profiles are updated including and accurate, to help maximise the hotels newsletter system including encouraging guests providing email contact details.
# To ensure all bookings are dealt with the correct procedure, rate codes, market codes and proper profile selection
# To upsell at every opportunity with accommodation and food and beverage, including tour activities
# To be able to deal with complaints effectively
# To be a first class host
# To be able working efficiently on their own
# Having a good knowledge of the local area and sharing it with guests appropriately
You need to have an obsession with great customer service, a desire to go for that extra mile, a passion to enhance the guest experience.
You need to have a great eye for detail.
The successful candidate will have experience in using Room Master, SiteMinder and OTA extranets.
