THIS IS 100% REMOTE. IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL SIT ON CENTRAL or EASTERN TIMEZONES due to supporting teams in Europe.
Daily: Agile ceremonies (1pm- 2pm EST)
Bi Weekly:
Have a few ceremonies (planning/grooming/retrospective) every two weeks.
PO Role:
This PO will help support the Smartwool and Altra brands for North America and also The North Face, Timberland, VANS and Napapijri brands in Europe. These brands are still on VF’s legacy 1.0 platform and this person will be supporting feature builds for these brands. The Dev team and tech leads are in California and their are business stakeholders in Europe, so that’s why they want a PO to work CST or EST hours.
This is a true PO role. This person must have experience with:
Creation of epics and stories and understand how to prioritize stories.
Cart and checkout space (Payments and Orders)
D2D Responsibilities:
Look into Jira tickets and look at updates to stay aligned from previous day
Provide updates and guidelines
Run backlog and prepare grooming for sprints
Give priorities to the tickets on what to work on.
Work with Product Manager to identify which priorities go to which team (Brands in EMEA or NORA)
They don’t know when these brands/locations will move to their new 1.5 platform, so there won’t be a ton of new product features, but will be mostly supporting current features.
Projects:
1.(integration of return portal) which is broken down to three phases. Changing the way they return capabilities for online customers. Will be working on a few brands for this.
2. Gift Cards for Altra brands
3. Smartwool- socks recycling projects (not paying return fees)
4. Checkout redesign (work with UX/UI team). Work together for all 1.0 brands.
5. Currently planning: how to apply promotion codes. Many features they need to enable to plan with the team.
