The team acts for claimants and defendants, and has a diverse client base, including companies (from the UK and abroad), insolvency practitioners, and ultra-high net worth individuals. A significant part of the team’s case load involves freezing orders and other interim injunctions, and almost all the work is cross border. All the associates in the team gain significant court experience, usually attending multiple hearings every year. The team’s work is focussed exclusively on civil litigation; it does not work on regulatory or criminal investigations.
This is a specialist role within the fraud and asset recovery team, so we are seeking a candidate who wishes to specialise in this area rather than maintaining a broad litigation practice. We are seeking a motivated candidate with six months to 2.5 years’ experience in civil litigation, with some experience of fraud and/or freezing orders. Regulatory and criminal experience is not relevant to this role.
