Ontario, CA based Live events production company currently seeking a Structure Technical Designer to join our team. Structure Technical Designers work closely with the project management team and fabrication teams to produce detailed drawings and 3D models for various live event productions. Qualified candidates are typically detailed oriented, hold strong technical backgrounds, and have an ability to think outside of the box or approach problems from a unique perspective. Job responsibilities are as follows: -Design, model, and annotate stage structures for live event productions. -Generate build/construction drawings using Solidworks and Vectorworks (training can be done in house for Vectorworks) -Communicate with project management team and clients to determine event and design needs. -Lead other members of drafting team in design and drawing execution. -Assist with other design and drafting needs as determined by events team. Candidates should also: -Be able to design with structural stability, safety, and on-site execution in mind. -Demonstrate creative problem solving abilities. -Maintain an efficient and professional workflow with an ability to meet concrete deadlines consistently. -Hold a familiarity or the ability to develop a familiarity with live event production equipment. -Be willing to work in a fast paced environment. -Be willing to travel to different job sites as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
