Inside/Remote Sales Associate, Experienced Telephone Salesperson

Our busy and successful gift company seeks an experienced, reliable telephone salesperson for a special project lasting approximately 1-2 months. We are launching a novel line of bird feeders, successful with local stores in a nationwide chain, goal is to expand rollout to the entire chain of over 300 stores.

Responsibilities Include:

· 1 – 2 month contract

· Contacting existing store list to establish sales relationship and offer a high-quality product that is handmade in New Hampshire

· Coordinating, negotiating, and following up with buyers to close orders

· Maintaining brief log of calls and actions, using our customer management software

· Mon – Thu, work from home as independent contractor (computer and phone required)

· Paid hourly for training, then pay is entirely commission-based. Potential earnings over $20K over 1-2 months depending on number of calls and successful sales made.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent needed

· Proven experience of 2+ years’ inside sales experience via telephone selling a physical product (not a service)

· Familiar with customer management software and MS Office

· Exceptional oral and written communication skills

· Ability to negotiate, follow up, and convert into final sale

· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

· Knowledge about nature/birds/feeding a plus

Experience: Please apply only if you have minimum 2 years telephone cold-calling sales experience.

Job Type: Mon-Thurs, 32-40 hours/week

Hourly rate: $20/hr for training, 100% commission based working from home.

Location: Windham, NH for training.
