Prefer bachelors degree in psychology, social work, etc.
Bachelor’s Degree: 3 years experience in working with families preferred, children, state government systems. High School Diploma/GED: Minimum of 5 years experience in working with families, children, state government systems. Familiar with county government and willing to work in partnership with county agencies such as Department of Family and Children Services and Department of Juvenile Justice.
Expected to have both oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills.
Flexible schedule is available but non traditional hours are often required.
Must attend and participate in staffing at ProFamily office.
Cell phone and on-call required.
Must be comfortable as a self directed worker.
Must understand and be able to identify guidelines for mandated reporting and follow through.
Must demonstrate appropriate boundaries and ethics with clients, court testimony is regularly required.
Applicants will be responsible for parenting classes, in-home case management, supervising visitation between parents / caregivers and children, transporting children or parents to and from appointments, supervising children for extended periods of time, and performing drug screens.
