Prism Inc Looking for Field Technician (Windows 10 Migration)- Active DOD Secret Clearance at Alexandria, VA Full Time

This position is 80% of travel (this includes Per Diem for Meals, Hotels, and Incidentals).

You will require training in Alexandria, VA, for three weeks to prepare for Windows Deployments across the U.S.

PRISM seeks Multiple Secret cleared, CompTIA Security+ CE certified IT professionals with experience supporting migration efforts for enterprise environments. In this role, you will migrate all OS from Win10 to Win11, test, install, image, and troubleshoot the operating systems across hardware devices. You will also be responsible for creating documentation (SOPs for end users), training and guiding end users, and conducting site surveying.

Required Qualifications:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience with installation and support of Windows operating systems ( Windows 7/10 Migration Experience)
• Must have experience providing user assistance with hardware and system support software problems

8570 IAT Level II Compliant CompTIA Sec +CE or similar

• This position will require nationwide travel approximately 80% of the time- You must have a driver’s license and credit card with a 6K or more limit for reimbursable travel expenses (Bi-weekly/monthly as needed)

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

• Windows Migration (7 to 10 or similar): 3 years (Preferred)
• Windows Operating System 7/8/10 or higher support: 3 years (Required)
• Migrating Windows Devices: Workstations, Laptops or similar: 3 years (Preferred)
• Upgrade, install, troubleshoot Windows OS: 3 years (Required)
• Image, Deploy Windows OS: 3 years (Required)
• Creating documentation i.e. SOPs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• DoD 8570 Compliant IAT Level II-CompTIA Sec +CE or similar (Required)
