Pertemps are currently recruiting for Parcel Delivery Drivers in the Woking area, delivering to residential properties on a temporary basis.
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Temporary, ongoing
Schedule: 5-6 days per week from Monday to Saturday
Pay rate: £13.37 per hour
Location: GU21 and the surrounding areas
Main duties:
You’ll spend the first hour or so of your shift in the delivery office, sorting the mail for your route and loading your van
Using a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and follow your route
Driving a van
Delivering parcels to residential properties
The right candidate:
Full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address)
No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
Happy to consent to a DBS check
Upbeat and self-motivated
Some experience in a customer facing role would be ideal
Comfortable completing a postal route on foot, as this may occasionally be required
