Salary Range: $105,000 – $115,000 / year

Overview
Summit Materials was formed to acquire and grow heavy-side building materials companies in the aggregates, ready-mixed concrete, cement, asphalt paving and construction industries. As part of Summit s ELEVATE Summit Strategy, we are embarking on a business led digital transformation of our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. This project is key to the transformation of Summit s Supply and Demand planning capabilities. The S&OP Functional Solution Specialist will work closely with the Director, Operations Applications to provide support of the o9 application and will be the IT Business Partner to the S&OP Team.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as a main contributor in administering our o9 environment
- Drive discussions with business sponsors and stakeholders to identify business objectives and priorities to enable business growth and seamless operations from the end user point of view
- Participate in system testing & implementation across our operating companies
- Using strong problem solving skills, you will be responsible for solving incoming support tickets and incrementally optimizing the end user experience in o9
- Efficiently utilize our internal ServiceNow Service Desk to enable front line support and training to users
- Define and execute on release and configuration management strategies
- Test application bug fixes, enhancements, and new software releases
- Assistance in project management and regression testing for our o9 upgrades
- Establish priorities for application modifications in collaboration with key business stakeholders
- Ensure change control, support ticketing, and bug tracking processes are executed following defined standards
- Ensure security, compliance, and integrity of systems and data
- Build partnerships across the application, business and infrastructure teams
Skills & Experience
Primary Systems (experience with one or more of the following systems):
- o9
- SAP IBP
- Blue Yonder
- Other Supply and Demand Planning Tools
- A Bachelor s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
- 4+ years experienced in application support
- Familiarity with Supply and Operations planning business problems and exposure to S&OP processes supported by o9
- Ability to clearly communicate status and results to business operations and finance personnel
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, strong listening skills and ability to communicate all levels of an organization.
- Ability to train and present information in group and one-on-one settings.
- Excellent investigation and diagnostic skills
- Experience working with diverse teams and influencing strategy, tactics, and execution
- You have a growth mindset, and are excited about learning new systems and processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in MS Office products
- Available to work off business hours and weekends as required
- Located in Denver, CO with the capability to travel up to 25%
Preferred:
- Experience implementing and administering S&OP applications
- Knowledge/experience within the construction materials industry
- Strong SQL background
- Helpdesk ticketing/tracking (ServiceNOW)
Compensation Range:
$105,000 – $115,000
