Primary responsibilities will include project development and management in transportation planning, organization, and facilitation of public meetings, leading public engagement processes and working closely with local, state, and federal elected officials, agencies, government partners and residents.
Preferred education includes a degree in planning, urban studies, public administration, project management, geography, environmental studies, or related field. 2 to 5 years of equivalent experience preferred. Knowledge of GIS technology for planning, research and analysis preferred but willing to train. This position will be considered for hybrid or remote work. The service territory will include Marshall, Kittson, Pennington, Polk, Norman, Red Lake, and Roseau Counties. In region meetings (including evenings), public speaking and regular travel is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related transportation software, such as GIS databases and ArcGIS (or equivalent) highly suggested. A valid driver’s license and sufficient internet service is mandatory.
Salary range $54,542 to $72,089 plus a competitive benefits package.
