An opportunity has arisen for an Events & Communications Manager to join Millfield School to assist with effective and regular communication with Old Millfieldians (OMs), donors (potential donors) and key partners and to help organise professional events across the OM Society and Millfield Foundation.
Millfield is one of the leading UK independent schools for boys and girls, aged 2-18 years. Millfield is not like other schools and never has been. The role of the Events & Communications Manager will be to assist with (but not limited to):
The successful individual will have a high standard of ICT literacy with experience of working across social media platforms, excellent communication and organisation skills with a meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work to tight and competing deadlines.
Experience of working in marketing or PR, the leisure and hospitality sector or event management would be advantageous. The successful applicant will possess an ability to understand and articulate the purpose and objectives of Millfield, acting as an Ambassador for the School with a range of audiences including OMs, donors, committee members, staff and parents.
