Catering partner, Levy UK are looking for a creative and passionate Chef De Partie to join the team at the home of Harlequins rugby club, Twickenham Stoop!
Treat all colleagues in a polite and courteous manner at all times. Promote team spirit and be loyal to and supportive of the team, which includes any temporary members of staff you have dealings with. Attend training courses as required to actively continue and pursue your personnel development. Flexible in assisting in the unit and other areas within the Divisional Team in response to business and customer needs and at events. Respond to the pace of the business in terms of speed of work and productivity. Support Senior Managers in the effective liaison with Client to ensure the continual development of the partnership Represent the company in its best interest at all times, including issues such as wearing the correct, full and clean uniform and grooming. Demonstrate a commitment to the location in which you work. Monitor standards of hygiene and appearance of your team to ensure company standards are maintained. Prepare food in the correct manner as shown by Head Chef, in compliance with company food specifications and photographs. Ensure area of responsibility is kept clean and tidy at all times Assist Head Chef with ISO documentation Take responsibility of the kitchen and team in the absence of the Head Chef. Work with the entire team including managers and supervisors to provide quality, well presented food with speed and efficiency. Comply with the health and safety standards as laid down by the company. Provide food at times agreed with Head Chef in a safe hygienic manner. Comply with reasonable requests made by supervisors and managers on behalf of the customer needs. Where appropriate make recommendations to improve products and services Keep up to date with company knowledge attending any courses where possible. Follow instructions to maximise product yield and minimise waste. Take responsibility for accepting deliveries to ensure quality and price meet company specifications
