LabCorp Genetics, part of LabCorp’s Specialty Testing Group, has an opening for a Remote-Based Genetic Counselor to provide hereditary cancer telegenetic counseling services. This position will support our growing national hereditary cancer counseling service. This role offers independence combined with the support of a team of genetic counselors and the opportunity for professional development.
Please note, this is a 100% remote position. Candidate can reside anywhere in the US, however, must be able to work business hours in the Pacific Time Zone.
The schedule for the position will be: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm pacific time zone.
In this job you will:
- Have the opportunity to provide direct patient care for hereditary cancer indications, via telegenetic counseling
- Be able to engage in professional growth opportunities include research studies and publications, physician education, program development, and other key initiatives and projects
- Be part of a team of over 100 counseling colleagues and have access to the expertise of a nation-wide organization of medical geneticists and molecular/PhD geneticists

Requirements:
- MA/MS in Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling
- ABGC/ABMG certification or active candidate status required
- Broadly licensed or ability to obtain multi-state licenses
- GC will be required to work Pacific Time business hours
- Cancer genetic counseling experience highly preferred
