KCH Services Inc Looking for Sales Manager at Charlotte, NC Full Time

Reports to: Director of Sales and Marketing

Description:

The Sales Manager, KCH Surface Finishing will focus on driving results and selling KCH products and services to companies within the metal finishing industry. Ideal candidate would cover account in the Southeastern US and work remotely from the Charlotte, NC area.

Responsibilities:

• Lead follow-up, qualification, and conversion.
• Organic lead and opportunity development.
• Application review and proposed solutions.
• Review and present budgetary sales proposals and costing on a project specific basis.
• Deliver budgetary and firm technical sales proposals and costing on-time.
• Collaborate with KCH colleagues, as required to finalize design, costing and proposal.
• Disseminate proposals and pricing to Sales Representatives and/or customers.
• Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information daily.
• Track various sales activities in company SharePoint and keep current by updating account information daily.
• Communicate customer and product pain points to appropriate departments.
• Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.
• On-Site Customer and/or Engineer consultations and/or meetings, as required, to develop, close and complete projects.
• Prepare call reports for all meetings, both remote and in-person.
• Customer prospecting, which will include cold calling.
• Travel to and from territory on a regular basis, could be frequent, depending on demand.
• Attend trade shows, both local and nationally
• Prepare and present technical product presentations using PowerPoint.
• Adhere to, and suggest improvements to, the company’s best practices.
• Meet or exceed annual revenue (Bookings) goal.
• Regular collaboration with team members, and VP of Sales.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in surface finishing industry
• Experience sizing ventilations systems for corrosive air streams
• Experience with anodizing, hexavalent chrome, electroless nickel, and similar finishing chemistries and systems
• Proven ability to meet and exceed goals
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Highly self-motivated
• Strong verbal and written and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience working within a CRM system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
