Executing energy storage related projects, including:Technical due diligenceProcurement support, preparation of tender documentation, Employer’s Requirements, contract negotiationsOwner’s Engineering support, design reviews and site visits construction monitoring and witnessing of commissioning and testingEnergy storage training for customersProject managementPreparing proposals to win new projectsMeeting new customers and presenting DNV services professionallyBuilding strong relationships with external customers – gathering and following through new leads to clear proposals and contractual agreementExtending your external network and finding project opportunitiesTracking and responding to new industry/market developmentsBuilding an internal network to gain and share knowledge and opportunities
Engineering or technical degree qualification – preferably electrical engineeringKnowledge and understanding of energy storage systems and electric vehicles and applications prospects/trendsProject development or EPC and O&M experience with energy storage and/or renewablesKnowledge of UK transmission & distribution networksExperience and expertise in the UK energy market and the role that energy storage can play in the marketGood understanding of the commercial basis for projectsStrong competence in proposal & report writing, ensuring clear and accurate reports are producedStrong communication, interpersonal, relationship and stakeholder management skills. Ability to handle the complex (technical) problems and be able to guide individuals through the associatedExperience of building long-term client relationshipsAbility to juggle and manage conflicting work priorities to ensure deadlines are metAble to co-operate well with others; shares knowledge, experience and information; and supports others in pursuit of team goals
