You will play a key role in supporting the needs of their OB operations and working with the stores team, Unit Managers and Vision department to ensure all vision requirements for each OB are fulfilled to the highest standard.
This position would suit someone who currently works as a Vision Engineer or Guarantee who would like to step away from the high-volume of travel and are attracted by the chance to work typical Monday to Friday office hours.
Responding to tenders and ensuring all equipment sent to jobs is fully operational and loaded correctlyMaintenance and operation of equipment within the OB truck – checking each truck has the basic requirements needed to do it’s job.Ensuring technical faults are identified, logged and resolved or faulty equipment is taken out of serviceQuality checking all incoming and outgoing equipmentManaging supplier relationships for repairs, spare parts and service agreementsProactively thinking of ways to improve operations including kit management and storage
