Power Platform Digital Solution Provider

Pay range: $50-$60/ hour

Schedule: 5/80 Monday to Friday

1 year contract possibility to extend.

Objective:

Develop PowerApps, PowerBI and PowerAutomate solutions to meet the developing needs of the Norco Maintenance, Turnaround and Construction (MTAC) Team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Not all solutions have fully developed process flows, so a big portion of the job expectations will be to lead the team from “what’s in our heads” to “getting it on paper” to “making it work on the computer/ipad” and several iterations thereof
• Determine which portions of solution fit best in which of the software programs
• Have all three programs, PowerApps, PowerBI and PowerAutomate (and maybe more) work seamlessly together in a single solution
• Develop new solutions that integrate into existing solutions
• Coach other citizen developers when they require assistance
• Document solution performance for transition to Run and Maintain
• Display flexibility and adapt solutions when requirements change during design and UAT and after go-live
• Offer the team options beyond their expectations (where can the software do more?)

Competency Requirements:

• Expert level PowerApps, PowerBI and Power Automate knowledge
• Experience must include using complex formulas, not only modelling data
• Preferred 5+ years experience supporting various refinery / chemical processes, including maintenance and Turn-Arounds
• Passion around continuous improvement and sharing with others to drive site goals
• Ability to share knowledge and teach others
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in complex systems
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and clients
• Fast learner and ability to clearly outline data relationships
• Demonstrated delivery of co-mingled/co-dependent multi-software solutions
