Conduct reviews of scoping documents to ensure completeness and validation of requirements/ feasibilityContribute to scoping documents creation, including adding technical detailsEnsure scoping documents are updated on an ongoing basis, including the update of the documents themselves when amendments are actioned &/or are updated by the developerAssist with issue reviews and tracing, including liaising with users to validate results and/or communicate remediation planLiaise with key stakeholders on technical points arising from user queries, including assisting developersContribute to the creation and maintenance of departmental process documentation, including continual improvementsAssist with regression testing, including supporting the Operational Team in such activities and Unit and SIT where appropriateContribute to the Continual Improvement Register (CIR) for reports, including such activities as raising recommendations (based on analysis conducted), assessing feasibility of requests, etcAct as proxy to reporting manager in the CIR calls, calls, including users, contractors and teams calls
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a data analyst / report writer gained within a business environmentKnowledge of report writing tools such as SAS, FrontReports, SSRS, MS Excel, PowerBIKnowledge of SQL Server, TSQL and database designGood knowledge of MS Excel, including macrosAbility to compile technical documentation, including requirements elicitation, specification documentation and testingStrong problem-solving skills, methodical approach and adherence to change management practicesGood interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and third-party suppliers.Relevant professional qualificationsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFinancial Services experience an advantageExposure to (fund) Accounting principles an advantage
