Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
We are seeking experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to work Telehealth from home for our TeleHealthcare Company. Psych Nurse Practitioner must be licensed and Medicaid certified in Minnesota to qualify for this position.
The Psych Nurse Practitioner must be able to prescribe in the State of Minnesota having your DEA as well as being Medicaid credentialed in order to qualify for the position.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Nurse Practitioner will provide primary care medical services by tele conferencing with patients. Providing the highest quality of health services to clients in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for providing direct primary care to patients including history taking, exams, diagnosis and treatment
- Perform Comprehensive assessments of patients
- Establish medical diagnosis for common short-term or chronic stable health problems
- Prescribe medicine as necessary and appropriate in accordance with states and federal laws
- Perform therapeutic and corrective measures – Patient education
- Evaluate, diagnose, manage and treat conditions, seeking consultation as deems necessary
- Ensure the completion of all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and work rules and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Perform this job from Home successfully
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Requires a Masters in Nursing and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in Psych with applied knowledge of medical and nursing terminology, and nursing practices and procedures; or a combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Requires at an Advanced Practice license in the state in which you reside in.
