ATA Services, Inc is currently seeking to hire an experienced NM Statewide Immunization Information System Epidemiologist.
The NMSIIS Epidemiologist will be responsible for data mining, data analysis, defining trends in data, data presentation, and utilizing collected data for the purposes of decision-making. The position will work closely with NM DOH Immunization Program and Epidemiology program staff. The incumbent will be responsible for producing reports and data for state and federal reporting on a scheduled basis as well as responding to ad hoc data requests. Data requests can include, but will not be limited to, COVID-19 vaccine data, regularly scheduled vaccine data, childhood immunization rates, school immunization rates, vaccine exemption data, identifying and analyzing areas of NM with vulnerable populations for outreach efforts, and improving data quality within the New Mexico Immunization Information System (NMSIIS).
